With the investment in the 10-colour web offset press Royal Joh. Enschedé now possesses all printing techniques. High quality printing is obviously an important part of the total range of services that Joh. Enschedé offers. A state-of-the-art production apparatus is therefore crucial. To further increase the possibilities for the customers the investment in the 10–colour web offset press was done to supplement the current machinery
With the new press, the newest techniques are now available, keeping the traditional quality at the highest level.
Royal Joh. Enschedé now has the following printing techniques at its disposal:
- Sheet fed and web offset
- Flexography
- Gravure
- Intaglio
- Foil stamping
- Screen printing
- Letterpress
- Digital print
and all kinds of applications that can be produced alongside these techniques, like slitting, perforation, hot stamping and numbering.
In cooperation with the Österreichische Post AG (Austrian Postal Service) the production of the first postal stamp has already taken place. As a special feature, the stamp was foil stamped in-line with a silver foil: one of the novelties of the new press.
