Layout
Pre-press is the phase that precedes printing. The layout is established on the basis of the design. The printing forms and plates are made. Almost everything is computerised: the production of films (computer to film), printing plates (computer to plate) and cylinders (computer to cylinder). Etchings can be produced for very special printed matter.

Software
In addition to the ‘usual’ Apple software, Joh. Enschedé also has Dalim software and links between both systems that were developed in-house. With regard to this, we maintain close contact with our software suppliers.
