Environmental Policy Security Print

“The Environmental Policy of Joh. Enschedé Security Print (JESP) is aimed at using raw and other materials in a responsible way by which the current social premise of burdening the soil, water and air as little as possible is respected.”

JESP conforms itself to the Environmental Policy Agreement of the KVGO. In view of the compli-ance to the Environmental Policy Agreement and applicable legislation JESP has set up an environ-ment care system.
The norm ISO 14001:2004 is the guiding principle for the future implementation of necessary activi-ties.

The environmental policy of Joh. Enschedé Security Print strives for:
•    Compliance to the Environmental Policy Agreement and environmental legislation.
•    Compliance to relevant environmental aspects of the graphics/ media industry.
•    Reduction of the environmental hazards of used production materials and energy as:
-    reduction of the use of hazardous materials.
-    reduction of the use of solvents.
-    control and reduction of waste from production.
-    stimulation and realisation of energy savings.
-    procurement of materials like paper according to FSC –standards.
•    Systematic improvements of the environmental performance of Joh. Enschedé Security Print.
•    Integration of health and safety, quality and security aspects of processes and departments.
•    Communication of the environmental policy to internal and external stakeholders.

JESP is convinced that, with the use of the best available resources, the care for the environment and environmental awareness within our organisation will increase even more.
