Joh. Enschedé prints worthless stamp
Royal Joh. Enschedé took care of all printed matter for the tenth edition of the Comic Strip Days Haarlem. For the anniversary edition of this event, the illustrator and graphic artist Joost Veerkamp designed a special collectible stamp that was also printed by Joh. Enschedé.
As a distinguished stamps printer, Joh. Enschedé produces 'real' (postage) stamps for over 60 countries and the stamp without value for the Comic Strip Days Haarlem can easily match stamps that do possess value. And, even though worthless, the stamp is very valuable for collectors and fans. The stamps itself - depicting distinct buildings in Haarlem - sit in a beautifully designed booklet and carry the joint title 'Spaarne Stijl 1875 - 1935, Te sparen bouwkunst gemeente Haarlem' (Spaarne Style 1875 - 1935, Collectible architecture Municipality of Haarlem).
Also all other printing matter like programs, press folders, invitations, posters, and brochures for the tenth edition of the Comic Strip Days Haarlem was printed by Joh. Enschedé, as sponsor linked to the Comic Strip Days Haarlem.
The Comic Strip Days Haarlem 2010 took place on the 5th and 6th of June, 2010. For more information please visit: www.stripdagenhaarlem.nl
